The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Kerala, conducts the admissions for all Government, Aided, andSelf-Financing
Polytechnic Colleges in the state for the 2024-25 academic year through the official portal: http://polyadmission.org.

All Diploma programmes are of 6 semesters (3 years) duration.

Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality: Must be an Indian Citizen.
- Domicile: Must be a native of Kerala State. Non-Keralites are eligible only for a limited number of seats.
- Academic Qualification: A pass in SSLC / THSLC or an equivalent examination. Candidates appearing for their final examination in March/April 2024 are also eligible to apply.
- Application Process
The application process is completely online.
- Registration: Visit http://polyadmission.org and register using a valid mobile number and email ID.
- Filling the Application: Log in to the candidate portal and fill in the required personal, academic, and reservation details.
- Document Upload: Upload scanned copies of the following:
- Recent Passport Size Photograph
- Signature
- SSLC/THSLC or equivalent Mark Sheet
- Community Certificate (if applicable)
- Application Fee Payment:
- General Candidates: ₹ 150/-
- SC/ST Candidates: ₹ 75/-
- Payment can be made online through the provided payment gateway.
- Final Submission: Review and submit the application. It is recommended to keep a printout of the submitted application form for future reference.

- Important Notes
- No Entrance Exam: Admission is based on the Index Mark calculated from the qualifying examination (SSLC/THSLC).
- Single Application: One application form is valid for all participating colleges.
- Merit Lists: Separate merit lists will be published for different categories.
- Allotment: Seat allotment is done through a centralized process based on merit, choice, and reservation.
- Spot Admission: May be conducted for vacant seats after the main allotment rounds.
